Tim Welc, Founder/Owner

Hailing from Michigan, Timothy Welc has over 42 years of experience in the foodservice industry, having worked in numerous casual and fine dining establishments. His journey as an executive chef and general manager has been marked by a profound passion for culinary excellence and an entrepreneurial spirit.


Timothy's career took a significant turn when he made the decision to relocate to Las Vegas in 2001. Here, he served as the Director of Special Events at a prominent Las Vegas casino on the strip. It was during this time that his entrepreneurial spirit truly began to flourish, leading to the founding of Masterpiece Cuisine in 2007. What started as a humble catering operation operating out of his own home has since blossomed into a thriving foodservice management company, with locations in Nevada and New Mexico.

Today, Masterpiece Cuisine has evolved into a prominent player in the industry, serving a diverse clientele across both states. Under Timothy's leadership, Masterpiece Cuisine has become a trusted provider of catering and food management services across various sectors, including healthcare, corporate dining, education, and hospitality. Based in downtown Henderson, their unwavering commitment to culinary excellence and client satisfaction continues to drive the company's growth and success. Masterpiece Cuisine has been recognized as one of the most awarded catering companies in the region, a testament to Timothy's dedication and expertise.
