Board Member

Prior to starting his own firm, Tony was the Chief Marketing and Government Affairs Officer at Burke Construction Group. He began his 12-year tenure as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Governmental Affairs. Tony helped Burke achieve national prominence and award-winning recognition. Tony successfully collaborated with some of Nevada’s most prominent elected officials, and community leaders including, the Nevada Federal Delegation, the Office of the Governor, the Office of the Lt. Governor, the Clark County Commission, the City of Las Vegas City Council, the City of Henderson City Council, and the North Las Vegas City Council. He introduced Burke to some of Nevada’s leading developers including, The Molasky Group of Companies, Territory Inc., Thomas and Mack Development Group, and Peccole Nevada. He effectively resolved several entitlement issues for Burke clients, including the successful permitting and approval process for the El Paso natural gas pipeline in Washoe County. This project helped create over 2,000 jobs during Nevada’s worst economic downturn. Additionally, he was responsible for the successful expansion and construction of VadaTech, one of Nevada’s most valuable high-tech manufacturers.

Prior to his career at Burke, Tony held key leadership positions at NV Energy, beginning in the Governmental Affairs Department. While there, he successfully represented the organization to the public, providing resolution on numerous high profile permitting and approval processes. He coordinated the successful acquisition of industrial development bonds, which were utilized to offset the costs of important infrastructure projects, ultimately reducing costs for all NV Energy customers. Tony was later promoted to Executive Manager of Business Planning and Growth, effectively co-founding what later became the Economic Development Department. During his 7-year tenure, Tony became the contact person for elected officials and the commercial development community. This relationship led to his election to the Board of NAIOP, and later to his leadership as President. Prior to leaving NV Energy, one of his most important accomplishments was to successfully realign NV Energy’s position with the Public Utilities Commission during the Western Energy Crisis. The positive outcome of this enhanced level of communication was crucial and proved to be an invaluable model for all future interaction.
