Matt Kershaw, President/CEO

Matthew R. Kershaw is President and Chief Executive Officer of Clark County Credit Union (CCCU). He was appointed to the position in August 2015 by the credit union’s board of directors. Kershaw leads one of Nevada’s larger, locally-owned financial institutions, currently holding over 43,500 members and $750 million in assets.


Prior to his appointment as CEO, Kershaw held other leadership positions at CCCU including commercial loan officer from 2005-2011 and Vice-President of Sales/Chief Commercial Officer from 2011-2015, where he managed the loan portfolio during a time of business and staff expansion. In this role, Kershaw led the strategic management function and evaluated cross-functional programs and services that have enabled CCCU to achieve its long-term objectives.

Kershaw began his career in 1998 at Zion First National Bank and joined National Bank of Arizona in 2001. From 2003-2005, he worked at Bank of Nevada, where he held the position of Assistant Relationship Officer, before joining CCCU.


Kershaw holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, and an MBA from Arizona State University. Kershaw is designated a Certified Chief Executive by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), the premier national trade association overseeing credit unions. He is an active leader with the Boy Scouts of America, his church and enjoys the company of his wife and their two daughters.
