Jamie Thalgott, Shareholder

A Las Vegas native, Jamie Thalgott understands Nevada’s political climate and highly regulated gaming industry and their effect on complex land use and real estate transactions. Her practice focuses on providing counsel to high-profile developers, through the negotiation of development agreements and entitlement applications with local municipalities, and to market-leading casino and resort clients, through the negotiation of property acquisitions, dispositions, financings and leasing as well as legal issues related to land use and property development.

Previously, Jamie served as an assistant city attorney for the City of Henderson, where she negotiated the multimillion-dollar sale and development agreement of 55 acres of city land to the Las Vegas Raiders for their headquarters and practice facility. She also served as lead counsel to the city’s Planning Commission, Property Management Department and Community Development and Services Department. Since returning to Brownstein, Jamie represented the City of Henderson in its sale of 279 acres to an affiliate of Haas Automation, Inc., for the development of an advanced manufacturing facility and integrated campus, which has been called one of the biggest economic development deals in the valley. Jamie serves on the firm’s Women’s Leadership Initiative Steering Committee
