What is ... "I CAN BE"?
I CAN BE is a program where business and education come
together to raise career awareness to high school students.
Career Awareness ... How?
In career expos at high schools. 48 representatives from
a variety of business fields will interact with high school
students helping them to become aware of the skills and
knowledge needed to pursue their occupational interest.
Why... 48 Participants?
Simple math! 16 different career clusters with 3 different
business types per cluster is 48 representatives.
Career Cluster?
The State of Nevada, through the Department of
Employment Training and Rehabilitation, categorizes
occupations using a national system of 16 general career
areas named career clusters!
